Heavenly

Heavenly is found on the California/Nevada border, around the shores of Lake Tahoe. Part of the Vail Resorts group, the resort offers excellent skiing for all abilities, especially for intermediates. There are great views, no queues and a superb snow record which is supported by good snowmaking facilities.

Experts will really love the powder in the Mott and Killebrew Canyons, while snowboarders have loads of snow parks and pipes. The off piste is also good for those venturing off the runs, with very good forest skiing.

Heavenly's new (opened in Dec 2000) high-speed 8 person gondola transfers skiers from the heart of Lake Tahoe to the upper slopes.
