Chalet Maurienne has superb ski access. It boasts a lovely first-floor lounge with deep sofas and south facing balcony, which is perfect for catching the afternoon sun or midnight stargazing.

The open-plan dining room leads off the adjoining lounge and kitchen, with long oak tables around which guests can indulge in good food, good wine and good ski stories.

The chalet also has its own sauna and large hot tub, perfect for relaxing tired muscles after a long day on the slopes. Your chef, chalet person and ski host will arrange an honesty bar with snacks, soft drinks, beers and mixers for your convenience.

Catering

We understand that one of the most important parts of any winter holiday is the food. At the end of a crisp day on the mountain, there is nothing better than sitting down with a glass of wine to enjoy a delicious three course evening meal and relive the day's adventures. Please note that unless you are taking a chalet for sole use then our younger guests, aged 12 and under, will be fed at 6.00pm, followed by the adults only dinner.

To get you started every morning we provide a hearty buffet of cereals, fresh French bread and jams, boiled eggs, porridge, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee. On six mornings there is also a cooked option to choose from, such as bacon or sausage with scrambled eggs. On your return from the slopes every day a delicious afternoon tea is provided of freshly baked cakes, bread and jams, and tea or coffee. On six evenings you will enjoy a wonderful three course evening meal accompanied by free, unlimited regional table wine. On the festive last evening of the week the meal is followed by a delicious and varied cheeseboard of local specialities and complimentary port.

Information

Please note: This chalet is in Reberty 2000 which is just down the valley from Val Thorens.

Reberty has a ski school, ski shops, child care facilities and 3 or 4 bars and restaurants. A regular free shuttle bus runs between Reberty and Les Menuires until early evening.
